Scholarships

obART will soon offer different residence scholarships for professional artists and those still undergoing training. These scholarships are to ensure good conditions for artistical work and mainly support young qualified artists to have fun experimenting. In consequence, innovative

forms and contents can arise. This obART program of support will give the opportunity to concentrate on one’s own artistical work in a creativity-influenced atmosphere at the ARTresidenz. Working will be possible free of the constraints of every day life. Staying in Kirschau will be possible without direct financial efforts.

Next to free accomodation, the scholarship holders will receive monthly stipend in cash. The scholarships will usually be given for one month. The selected artists will have to be on location during this month.
