Work scholarships

In cooperation with the regional textile industry two scholarships for textile design and textile art will be founded. These scholarships will be used to support excellent artistical achievements by an individual. They will also allow the artists to realize new projects.

To realize their textile art, an ad hoc set up studio will be available for the scholars.
Professors of the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, department of textile art and design and of the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, department of textile art will each recommend one talented student and/or young artist for this specific obART-scholarship. At the end of their stay, the scholarship holders will get the opportunity to present their artistical works.
