1. obARTsymposium

From the 17th to the 20th of September, 2009 the 1st obARTsymposium for a trilateral collaboration of the arts took place at the ARTresidenz. Personalities from German, Czech and Polish cultural institutions, universities and foundations and artists from all three countries participated in it. During the opening of the symposium the participants experienced an artistical interference of an Audio-Ballerinaopens external link in a new window.

Results of the symposium:

In cooperation with the Via Regia Sculptura 2011 obART will connect with the regional exhibition Via Regia and artistically revive the Bohemian Track, which extends from Bautzen over Kirschau to Prague.

In 2012 the international art exhibition outopoi will broach the issue of 'home', for example through vanished villages.
