On June 19th 1600 spectators came to see the world premiere of the three-nation-soccer match in Kirschau.

Three goals, three teams, one match

At 2:30 p.m. the teams Gminy Podgôrzyn (Poland), Miasta Spindleruv Mlyn (Czech Republic), and SV Großpostwitz-Kirschau (Germany) got together for the first Trikick. The winner was the SV Großpostwitz-Kirschau. At the end of the match the score was -6 : -8 : 2 (Poland, Czech Republic, Germany). From 4:30 p.m. on a selection of players from the county Bautzen (Germany) played against a selection of the Polish county Jelenia Gora, and against one of the Czech county Liberec. With this match the Czech team was way ahead. The score was -13 : -23 : 7 (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic).

Trikick is a piece of art, the soccer field a sculpture. Playing Trikick means overcoming the limits of soccer. No offside position, no corner kick, no throw-in - instead, dribbleing the ball in and minus points when the opponents score goals.
